HistoryEdit

Kevin Legnard was a knight around 100 years ago, serving under Lord Roman Sinclair and his family. He had spent the day with Roman's youngest daughter away from the mansion, and during their absence, the entire Sinclair family was brutally massacred due to the contant feuding between nobilities at the time.

Kevin had blamed himself for being so careless, and during this time of mourning, Kevin was approached by a Chain from the Abyss known as Albus, the White Knight, who utilized his short contact with the world to manipulate Kevin into forming an Illegal Contract with Albus in order for Kevin to be able to change the past and save the Sinclairs.

Night by night, Kevin and Albus slaughtered anyone they came across, to feed Albus' need for human flesh. As Albus was shrouded in the shadows, witnesses began calling him the 'Red-Eyed Spector' because his round pair of glowing red eyes were all that could be seen from the dark.

Rufus Barma's grandfather feverishly tried to stop Albus and Kevin's serial murders, but it was in vain, and it is implied that Rufus' grandfather was one of Albus' many victims. In the end, Kevin and Albus killed 116 people, but the two were still dragged down into the Abyss' deepest depths, as Kevin was a 'Child of Ill Omen', a child born with red eyes that could come into contact with The Nucleus of the Abyss.

Kevin awoke in a strange room where he was taunted by dolls and approached by a huminoid cat without eyes, Cheshire. A girl then came out from the shadows, her name was Alice, and she was the Intention of the Abyss. Albus then summoned himself, and marvelled at Alice. Albus revealed that his true goal all along was to meet the Intention of the Abyss. The Intention of the Abyss thanked Albus for bringing Kevin to her, and then reviewed Albus' memories verbally. As she recited Kevin's pain and anguish, Kevin drew his sword and pinned The Intention of the Abyss to the ground, which caused Albus and Cheshire to cry out for their precious Alice. The Intention then reviewed how Kevin wanted her to turn back time, foolishly sacraficing all those people to save the ones he loved. The Intention then cut her hand open on Kevin's sword and drank some of her own blood before Albus threw Kevin off of her.

Albus stated that he'd never be able to forgive anyone who wanted to hurt the Intention. The Intention then became enraged and asked why Albus interupted her while she was talking to Kevin, soon making Albus explode. The Will of the Abyss then danced with Cheshire in Albus' blood as it rained down on them.

PlotEdit

Rufus Barma ArcEdit

Rufus Barma had agreed to meet with Oz Vessalius, Alice, Gilbert Nightray and Xerxes Break one night as they had wanted to discuss the Tragedy of Sablier with him, though his true intentions were to get information from Break. After causing a commotion with his illusions and having them shattered by the power of Mad Hatter, Rufus revealed himself finally. Break collapsed from using Mad Hatter's power, and Rufus explained to Oz, Alice, Reim and Gilbert that Break was previously the Illegal Contractor, Kevin Legnard, who wreaked havoc 100 years ago with his Chain, Albus. Rufus then went on to explain Break being pulled into the Abyss, as well as his meeting with the Intention of the Abyss.

DescriptionEdit

AppearenceEdit

Albus appears as a silver suit of armor from the torso, up. Albus' lower body consists of a large cape, what lied underneath being shrouded in shadows. Albus often had twin swords, with blades that were larger than an average person. When Albus was drifting through the shadows at night, a pair of circular, glowing red eyes were all that could be seen of him. They were located underneath Albus where his legs would have been, though strangely enough they don't appear to be there when Albus steps into the light.

PersonalityEdit

Albus manipulated Kevin into believing that contracting with him illegally would bring back his beloved Lord Sinclair and his family, though in reality, Albus was only using Kevin to reach his own personalized goal of meeting the Intention of the Abyss, making Albus very selfish. Though Albus' reaction to Kevin's threat towards the Intention suggests that Albus may have formed a liking for Kevin, as Albus acted hurt because of how much he cared about the Intention, saying that he'd never be able to forgive Kevin for hurting the Intention.

RelationshipsEdit

Kevin LegnardEdit

Albus' main intent was to manipulate Kevin into doing his bidding so that Albus himself could meet the Intention of the Abyss. Although Albus succeeded in fooling Kevin and using him for another purpose, when Albus and Kevin finally meet the Intention, and Kevin attacks her, Albus defended her. Albus stumbled over his words as he told Kevin that he could never forgive anyone who hurt the Intention, possibly suggesting that Albus was hurt by Kevin's actions and that over time, the bond between Contractor and Chain had strengthened and Albus began to care for Kevin.

Intention of the AbyssEdit

Albus idolized the Intention of the Abyss, doing whatever it took to meet her. Albus fooled a human into slaughtering 116 souls before he and this human were dragged into the Abyss, all in the intent of meeting the Intention. Albus greeted the Intention politely, and allowed her to see his memories of Kevin and the Sinclair family. However, when Albus tried to protect the Intention after believing Kevin intended to do her harm, Albus met his end, as he had misread the situation and angered the Intention of the Abyss.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

  • Levitation - Albus was forced to levitate because of his lack of legs.
  • Supernatural strength

Albus may have had other abilities, but his past was not looked into enough to varify whether or not this is true.

QuotesEdit

To Kevin Legnard
  • "I shall not forgive anyone... wh...who seeks to harm the Intention of the Abyss! The Intention of the Abyss... A-Alice!"
  • "Would you like to rewrite what came before?"
